Alabama Max Out 2 was held April 21, 2018, at Alabama Strength in Foley, AL. This indoor event had 32 athletes competing in this Level 1 Strongman Corporation competition.

Courtney Reeves won the women’s open class in her 1st contest back from having a baby. We had 2 very competitive teens and Christopher Bodie ended up coming out on top setting PRs in all 3 of his lifts. The class that was the most fun to watch was the masters. Barrett Brunson came out with the win but it came down to a tiebreaker with Rick Kelly. Awesome effort by the whole group. Todd Williams won the 231 class in a close group and Justin Kealhofer won the HW open class. There were state records set in all open classes for the max circus dumbbell, max farmers for 25ft and max axle deadlift as we are trying to create a record book in the state of Alabama.

This is our 2nd year in hosting the Alabama Max Out event. Our next Strongman Corporation competition will be Alabama’s Strongest Man scheduled for August 11, 2018.
